Honour Monash - A great Australian

The Deasey Monographs

David DeaseyIn 2023, Lieutenant Colonel David Deasey OAM RFD (Ret'd) wrote a series of four Monographs for the Royal United Service Institute of New South Wales Javelin Monograph collection. The title of David's series is:

How three American Divisions ended up under Australian Command in World War One

The complete work quite seminal. Well worth reading in detail by anyone interested in military history, the development of all arms tactics and international military cooperation. The focus is on Monash and his command of United States and his own Australian troops during the battles that broke through the German lines in late 1918 paving the road to victory.
